MAPS Air Museum History takes flight at the MAPS Air Museum, home to aviation artifacts, memorabilia, and historic military aircraft. The museum is a renovated hanger, previously used by the Ohio Air Guard in the 1950s and later by the Ohio National Guard. Donated to MAPS by the Akron Canton Airport in August 2001, the museum is home to historic military and leisure aircraft and features rotating exhibits from gun turrets to jet engines.
